Cut those entire heated appliance that you use such as hair dryer, straightening iron, curling tongs and hot combs which are all drying your hair out.

Use a nourishing shampoo and a conditioner that’s especially made for dry or damaged hair.

If you have long hair, when you do shampoo, try to shampoo only the scalp and the hair closest to it. Piling it all up on your head and vigorously lathering does not help and can break the hair. So much for what the shampoo commercials portray. The shampoo will clean the rest of your hair, ends and all, as it is rinsed out.

It is a must for everyone with dry hair to keep their hair covered and protected in extreme weather conditions. Whether you are out in the snow or in the sun, your head should remain covered.

Take regular dose of vitamin B and minerals in your diet

Biotin is very important to improve the health of your hair. Include biotin rich food in your diet.

Once a week use a dry hair mask. Dry hair mask with olive oil and eggs. You’ll need 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of egg yolks, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of yogurt. Mix all these ingredients and apply it on the clean hair and cover the hair. Rinse hair after 30-40 minutes.
