Lebanese, Syrians, Palestinians, Iraq including Arabs and Kurd all love this group dance, it’s our river dance! Locking hands together and swinging one’s feet in the air and on the floor. This energizing dance that often brings more Arabs to the dance floor than any other dance. It might be the only group dance we know.
Folklore dance and troupes manged to preserve this art and even the most sophisticated person can take part of this village dance. It took two young persons to make this rap about someone who wanted to learn the way lf the debka. The rap is pretty amateurish but funny in bad way.
