Beautiful Lebanese Model Annabella Hilal

Born in Achrafieh, Beirut, Annabella Semir Hilal is a Lebanese model and the first runner-up in the 2005 Miss Lebanon contest. Hilal participated in Miss World 2006 in Warsaw (Poland), and was between the semifinalists, finally ranking the 7th place. She is now the TV presenter for Mission Fashion Show with a channel broadcast for 24 hours, and models practice with very well-known tutors as well as the designers. Hilal studies law and her ambition is to become a judge. In late 2009 November 14 Anabella Hillal married the much older, Dr.Nader Saab in a Chrisitan ceremony in Cyprus.

HRH Princess Basma Bint Talal

Princess Basma bint Talal of Jordan is the only daughter of the late King Talal I bin Abdullah  and Queen Zain Al-Sharaf Talal of Jordan, the Sister of the late King Hussien I of Jordan and the paternal Aunt to the current King of Jordan, HM King Abdullah II. HRH Princess Basma is considered as the Princess Royal of Jordan.

Basma was educated at Ahliyyah School in Amman, then in England at Benenden School (where she was a friend of Princess Anne) and Oxford University, where she read Modern Languages. In 2001, she was awarded a DPhil degree by Oxford University for a thesis entitled Contextualising development in Jordan: the arena of donors, state and NGOs.

300 women officials to help Makkah pilgrims

The General Presidency of Two Holy Mosques Affairs has appointed 300 women officials to cope with the increasing number of women pilgrims and visitors to the Grand Mosque in Ramadan.

The Supervisor of the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice Khaled Al-Subaie said the women guides in the Grand Mosque undertook the task of enlightening women visitors on religious rites in Ramadan.

They instruct the visitors on how the visitors should conduct themselves in the mosque. They also take the women entering the mosque to the place reserved for women.

Al-Subaie added that 151 women guides were working in four shifts at various locations in the mosque including the courtyards. (more…)
