Rabiah tells that although she is student of computer engineering but she also takes a lot of interest in architect. Rabiah tells that Damascus is very beautiful city particularly the Damascus citadel is the only fortress but it does not have a hill which other forts and citadels generally have. The interior of the citadel had houses, schools, baths and all other things which a city generally has. In fact it is considered as a city within the city. The souqs are also a point of attraction for the tourists here. There are many souqs like souq al hamidiyeh, souq middhat basha and so on.

Rabiah more tells that there are some land marks which are of tourist interest in the new city as well. The national museum is one of the landmarks which tourists must visit while on a trip to Syria. It is recognized as one of the finest in the world. Visitors can see many pre-historic items from various ages of the Syrian civilization.

Farhina Abas is from Hims, Syria. She loves photography and has recently done specialization in arts. She loves to capture nature, sports and other beautiful places around her. Damascus University consists of 14 faculties of literature and human sciences, education, economics, law, agriculture, Islamic Sahria’a, pharmacy, medicine, dentistry, civil engineering, fine arts, architecture, mechanic engineering, and the Higher Institute of Administrative Development. Damascus University is one of four universities currently operating in Syria. Jamilah wants to do post graduation from Damascus University and this is first year in the university.

This profile is of Naina Sargon student of art in University of Aleppo. Naina tells that Aleppo University is the second largest university in Syria. It was situated in 1960. She tells that when university opened in 1960, it consisted of only two faculties in Civil Engineering and Agriculture. The University grew rapidly in the subsequent decades, forming respected programs in engineering, sciences, and literature, as well as a strong emphasis on languages, offering courses on the German, Russian, French, and English languages, in addition to Arabic.
