Large foreheads are seen as real signs of wisdom and intelligence, and people having this type of forehead are usually more analytic and open-minded. While it is important to find a style to minimize a high forehead, you should also look for a style that goes well with your overall facial shape. Regardless of the length of hair you choose, go for cuts that look rounded to contrast the square angles of your face. While square-faced gals are sometimes steered toward styles with height at the top of the head, your high forehead makes this a bad idea. Instead, go wispy or add angled bangs that sweep to the side to mask your forehead and add a diagonal line to break up the squareness of your face.
Those with a wide forehead should not tie their hair back. The forehead then becomes the focus of attention. Hair should be left lose so that it frames the forehead and face and diverts attention away from the bangs. They then look part of the hair style and not an oddity.
