Show off Your Neck Line
Most women who sport a double chin make the mistake of trying to hide their problem area with hair. If you have long hair, then you should consider pulling it up away from your neck. Keeping your neck free of hair will accentuate the neckline and jawline. If you tend to wear your hair short, refrain from having it cut just next to your double chin. Instead, have it cut above your jawline to draw attention to your cheekbones instead.
Keep the Focus on your Eyes and Cheeks
You may enhance your eyes in neutral eye shadows, soft eye liner and lash-thickening mascara. This can help in drawing the attention to your beautiful eyes taking attention from your double chin. You can also go for the flushed-cheek effects by applying colors to your cheeks.
Keep Your Lips as Neutral as Possible
A bright lip color will draw attention to the lower part of your face and make your double chin more noticeable. Apply a moisturizing lip balm to get rid of any dry skin on your lips. Smooth on a lip gloss or lipstick that resembles your natural lip color. If you want to give your lips some definition, choose a lip liner that matches your lip color. Outline and fill in your lips with the pencil, then apply your lip color.
Exercises for Double Chin
You may find the following exercises effective in reducing double chin:
While keeping your lips closed, sitting straight on a chair, turn your head back looking at the ceiling. Then begin chewing movement and repeat the movements 20 times. This can help in working your muscles at the throat and the neck area, thereby reducing fat from that area.
Stand erect with feet together. Then gradually tilt your head backwards as far as possible. Remain in this position for sometime before returning back to your normal position. The exercise can help in stretching the muscles beneath the chin, thereby reducing fat.
