The Middle East’s Most Powerful Business Woman is Kuwaiti
Forbes Middle east has revealed a new study in their May issue, showing the top 100 most powerful Arab business women for 2012. Topping the list are
1. Shaikha Al-Bahar – CEO on the National Bank of Kuwait/NBK (Kuwait)
2. Lubna Suliman Olayan – Board member of the Saudi Hollandi Bank (Saudi Arabia)
3. Dina Shoman – Executive vice president of branding and board member of Arab Bank (Jordan)
The list also reveals the countries with the most number of women in leadership roles. Egypt came first with 20 business women on the list, Kuwait came second with 17, followed by Jordan with 13 women.
