Zada Hossain Exploring The History Of Aleppo

Friends today we are going publish a profile of Zada Hossain. Zada belongs to Aleppo, Syria. She is student of high school. Zada tells that history is her favorite subject and she wants to share a little about her city. She writes in her email that Aleppo is the city of northern Syria recognized for being one of the 4 Syrian sites on the UNESCO’s world Heritage list. Located at the crossroads of several trade routes from the 2nd millennium B.C., and considered one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. Hittites, Assyrians, Arabs, Mongols, Mamelukes and Ottomans have ruled in Aleppo. The Great Mosque, St. Simeons Basilica and the Citadel on the Hill are some of the major places of interests in the city.
